Phenotype
Asexual blood stageNot tested
Gametocyte/GameteNot tested
Fertilization and ookineteNot tested
OocystNot tested
SporozoiteCmyc-tagged expression of PY01024 was detected in salivary gland sporozoites in the anterior apical end of the sporozoite. Partial co-localization with PyRON4, a known rhoptry neck protein involved in parasite invasion, indicated that PY01024 is also localized to the neck of the rhoptries
Liver stageNot tested
Additional remarks phenotype

Mutant/mutation
The mutant expresses a C-terminal cmyc-tagged version of  PY01024

Protein (function)
The protein was detected in a proteome analysis of sporozoites (at low abundance).
It contains a a predicted signal peptide and also sequence homology to a known transcriptional modulator family (CCAAT-box DNA binding proteins)

Phenotype
Expression was only analysed in the sporozoite stage.
Cmyc-tagged expression of PY01024 was detected in  salivary gland sporozoites in the anterior apical end of the sporozoite. Partial co-localization with PyRON4, a known rhoptry neck protein involved in parasite invasion, indicated that PY01024 is also localized to the neck of the rhoptries
